Meet Dani

Licensed esthetician.

Lash artist.

The person who quit a toxic salon job on the spot to build something better.

How Jawbreaker started…

I was the top requested stylist at a chain lash studio. And I quit mid-shift.  Not because I hated what I do — but because I couldn't keep working somewhere that treated clients and employees the way they did! The racism. The homophobia. The culture of treating people like numbers.  I went home, told a few of my favorite clients, and started working on my business plan.

Jawbreaker Beauty Bar opened in April 2022. Built with purpose. Built to be the opposite of everything I'd walked away from.

I've been a licensed esthetician since 2015 and have specialized in lash artistry since 2018. I've invested thousands of hours and dollars into continuing my education — because I believe the people in my studio deserve someone who actually knows what they're doing.

How I work

Everything I do is customized. I never do the same thing on two clients, I don't follow trends for the sake of trends, and I don't rush anything.

With lashes, that means designing a look that actually fits your eye shape, bone structure, and lifestyle — not just what's popular on Instagram.

With skin, I use Korean skincare methods: prevention over correction, nourishment over aggression. Your skin barrier matters more than getting the most dramatic peel.

I work alone in a private studio. That means it's just you and me — no other clients, no staff walking in, no distractions. You get my full attention every single time.

I tell you exactly what's happening and why. If something isn't right for your lashes or your skin, I'll say so — kindly.

I never expect tips — honestly, the best thing you can do for me is leave a Google review and tell a friend! That means more than you know.
